Please Help Us Solve this Mathematics!!!

CAN YOU SOLVE THIS?

THREE MEN GOT INTO A MOTEL. THE MAN BEHIND THE DESK SAID THE ROOM WAS £30 SO EACH OF THE THREE MEN PAID £10 AND WENT TO THE ROOM.

A WHILE LATER, THE MAN BEHIND THE DESK REALIZED THE ROOM WAS ONLY £25 SO HE SENT THE BELLBOY TO THE THREE GUYS' ROOM WITH £5.

ON THE WAY, THE BELLBOY COULDN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO SPLIT £5 EVENLY BETWEEN THREE MEN, SO HE GAVE EACH MAN A £1 AND KEPT THE OTHER £2 FOR
HIMSELF.

THIS MEANT THAT THE THREE MEN EACH PAID £9 FOR THE ROOM, WHICH IS A TOTAL OF £27, ADD THE £2 THAT THE BELLBOY KEPT = £29.

WHERE IS THE OTHER POUND?

  2. after some time i got struck that 30-25=6(don't use calculater, just logically think that actually 26^th to 30 in between 5 numbers are there. but 25^th to 30 there are 6 numbers.)
Therefore we should count from 26^th pound to 30^th pound that the bellboy had given that is as under.
FROM 1st pound to 25^pound are paid to the person behind desk.
26^th ,27^th and 28^th pounds are returned by the bellboy to each of three men.
and two pounds are kept by the bellboy himself.
